Hallin Marine awarded a US$9.8m ConocoPhillips Indonesia contract

UK marine and underwater services firm Hallin Marine Subsea International plc announced Tuesday it has received a Letter of Intent from oil operator ConocoPhillips Indonesia for an Inspection Repair and Maintenance Programme with a budgeted value of US$9.8 million.
The award from ConocoPhillips Indonesia, a subsidiary of Houston based ConocoPhillips, is to conduct platform and pipeline inspection in 80-100m depths of water in the West Natuna Sea.
Hallin will provide a Dynamically Positioned Survey Vessel complete with a workclass Remote Operated Vehicle and survey/inspection equipment together with skilled survey personnel to carry out the contract.
The offshore inspection program is scheduled for two campaigns; the first commencing in the third quarter 2007 and the second scheduled to commence in the first quarter of 2008.(alex)
