Hanson in talks with Jindal to jointly develop coal mine

IDX-listed firm PT.Hanson Coal Energy Tbk said it was negotiating with a number of companies including Indian firm Jindal Group to develop its coking coal concession in Central Kalimantan, Bisnis Indonesia reported on Saturday.

Director Wiwik Sukarno said that the concession, which is located in Murung Raya regency, has reserves of 14 million tonnes.

Wiwik said the challenge to develop the mine was lack of infrastructure. (*)
