Upstream company PT Harpindo Mitra Kharisma, which operates the Lampung III block, plans to drill its first exploration well in the block called Sugih-1 in early 2018.

This was said by Ryan Bagus Wurjanto, Media Relation Manager at upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas over the weekend.

He said that the Sugih-1 exploration well, which is located in Way Pengubuan District, Lampung Tengah Regency, Lampung Province, will be drilled to a depth of 1,000 meters. The public campaign of the maiden drilling program was made on October 31.

Ryan said that Harpindo will only drill one exploration well in the block in line with its initial commitment. The company had conducted 2D seismic survey from mid-2016 until February 2017, covering seven districts in Lampung Tengah.
