Harum aims to increase output by 2mtpa by year end

IDX-listed PT Harum Energy Tbk has set target to start production of its two mines namely Karya Usaha Pertiwi (KUP) in Kutai Kartanegara and Tambang Batubara Harum (TBH) in Sangatta, in East Kalimantan, this year end.
"We plan each concession will produce 1 million ton per year, President Director Ray A Gunara told Petromindo.com on Friday.
The company is currently building infrastructures required to realize the plan. "We are also evaluating trend of coal price," he said.
Harum Energy is currently producing coal from its two mines namely Mahakam Sumber Jaya (MSJ) and Santan Batubara also in East Kalimantan. The two are expected to produce 12.5 million tons this year.
"As of this year's first quarter, the realization of our coal production reached 3.2 million tons," Ray said.
