Harum Energy to boost 2011 coal production

President director Ray A. Gunara told Petromindo.Com that PT Mahakam Sumber Jaya (MSJ) will be still the largest contributor for the company, with production of around 9-10 million tonnes next year, followed by PT Santan Batubara (SB) that will produce around 2.5-3 million tonnes
Other coal mine PT Tambang Batubara Harum (TBH), which will start production before end of this year is expected to produce 1.5 million tonnes of coal next year. ?For this year, we target to produce around 500,000 tonnes from TBH mine,? he said.
The company is also expects to get higher average selling price (ASP) for this year, he said. The ASP will be higher than ASP in the first quarter of this year, which reached US$88.4 per tonne, he said.
Last year the company?s ASP reached $75.7 per tonne.
Ray said that the company?s current installed infrastructure capacity from its mines already reached 20 million tonnes, but said it will not rush to boost production to installed capacity level.(denny)
