Harvest to drill in Budong-Budong block in November

Harvest Budong-Budong B.V., the local unit of US firm Harvest Natural Resources Inc. which is the operator of Budong-Budong block, is holding a tender for a mobile rig.

The firm said in a tender announcement that the rig will be used to drill 1 (one) exploration well onshore of Budong-Budong block in West Sulawesi in November.

The company tender is for the procurement of mobile drilling rig with prime mover powering 300-500 HP Hydraulic Drive system for drill rig operations and mast sufficient to handle minimum Range 2 tubulars, it said.

Harvest has assumed the operatorship of the block following an agreement inked last December with previous operator Tately Budong-Budong N.V, which pushed up the firm?s participating ownership interest in the Budong-Budong PSC to 71.5 percent.
