Hasan Bisri named as new president commissioner of PLN

The State Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises has appointed Hasan Bisnis as the new President Commissioner of state-owned electricity firm PT PLN, replacing Kuntoro Mangkusubroto, kompas.com reported Wednesday.

Hasan was deputy chairman of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) during the period of 2011-2014.

Kuntoro, who assumed the PLN post in November of 2015, reportedly had tendered his resignation on private reason. A source told this portal that Kuntoro had been approached to become the new president director of gold and copper giant PT Freeport Indonesia. (*)
