HBA coal reference price increases 1.19%

The government sets its coal reference price (better known as HBA) for June 2016 at US$51.81 per ton FOB, up from $51.2 in the previous month.
Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources Spokesman Sujatmiko said on Tuesday that the increase may be temporary as the global coal market remains in an oversupply situation.
Deputy Director of the Indonesia Coal Mining Association (ICMA), Hendra Sinadia said that the current increase in coal price is linked to the rally in crude oil price. (*)
