HBK?s coal sales to jump on new mines? production

Coal trader and miner PT. Hasil Bumi Kalimantan (HBK) plans to boost sales to 4.5-5 million tonnes next year form the planned 1.2 million tonnes this year, prompted by the start of the company?s two mines, a company official said.
Director Daniel Suharya told Petromindo.Com on Tuesday the increase would mainly come from the start of its Sumber Kurnia Buana mine in South Kalimantan and another mine in East Kalimantan.
Both mine will have combine annual output of 3 million tonnes, with Baramulti, which has CV range of 6,300-6,700Kcal/g would contribute around 2.1 million tonnes.
Daniel said 60 percent of the coal would be exported to Japan, South Korea, Philippines and Thailand and the rest would be sold to domestic market.(denny)
