HCML to develop two wellhead platform at MDA-MBH fields

Upstream authority SKK Migas said in a statement Friday that HCML will also develop gas pipeline and floating production unit (FPU),
?The development of the MDA-MBH fields started with construction work of the two wellhead platforms. The two offshore platforms will be set at the depth of about 80 meters in MBH field, and about 100 meters in MDA field,? said Head of Relations at HCML, Hamin Tohari as quoted by the statement.
Construction of the project will take about 26 months to complete, the statement said.
The MDA-MBH development project is HCML?s second project whose plan of development has been approved by SKK Migas after the BD field development project. HCML will develop seven production wells at MDA-MBH fields.
HCML plans production rate of 120 mmscfd of gas from the MDA-MBH fields for about 10 years. The gas output from the MDA-MBH fields will be distributed to PT Petrokimia Gresik, PT PLN, and PT Pertamina.
Husky Energy and CNOOC Ltd respectively hold a 40 percent equity interest in the Madura Straits PSC, with the remaining 20 percent held by Samudra Energy Ltd.
