Extraordinary general shareholders meeting of state gas distributor PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) Tbk. has decided to appoint Hendi Prio Santoso as the company?s new president director, replacing Sutikno.

PGN?s corporate secretary Heri Yusup said in Jakarta Friday that despite being replaced by Hendi Prio, Sutikno was still in the director line up. ?What position that Sutiko will hold has not yet been decided,? he said.

Hendi joined PGN in May last year after serving as investment banking director, at PT JP Morgan Securities Indonesia. He holds degrees in finance and economics from University of Houston.

Djoko Pramono, Michael Baskoro and Bambang Banyudoyo retained their positions as directors. Riza Pahlevi Tabrani joins the management as a director.

Meanwhile, Minister of State Enterprises Sofyan Djalil said that the replacement of the director was aimed to boost the working performance of PGN. ?Investors want their dividends to increase in value. However, there is no problem related to working performance,? he said.(godang)
