Herald appoints development manager for Dairi project

Australian mining firm Herald Resources Limited announced Tuesday it had appointed Craig Pickett as Project Development Manager for the high-grade Dairi Zinc/Lead Project in North Sumatra.
?Mr Pickett brings with him a wealth of experience, having been involved at a senior level in a number of major resource projects both offshore (Sepon, Minahasa, Ashanti) and Australia (Telfer, Murrin Murrin, Cosmos) to name a few,? Herald said in a statement.
Herald also said the company is continuing negotiations with banking syndicates and smelters in regard to financing of the project, while the permit approvals process in Indonesia is also in progress.
Herald has 80 percent stake in PT Dairi Prima Mineral, which runs the project, while state miner PT Aneka Tambang Tbk holds the remaining 20 percent. (Robert)
