Herald hopes to resume Aceh gold exploration in the near future

Australian mining firm Herald Resources said its associate company Corona Gold hoped be able to resume exploration works in Meluak gold project in Aceh in the enar future following peace agreement signed between Indonesian government and Free Aceh Movement.
"The peace accord negotiated appears to be holding, thus giving hope for the ability to resume work in the near future," the company said.
Corona had been forced to suspend exploration activity in the Gayo Lues regency for two years on security risk fear.
Herald has 26 percent stake in Corona, which in turn has 100 percent interest in Meluak gold prospect. (alex)
