Herald strikes another high-grade finding in N. Sumatra Zinc/Lead prospect

Australian listed mining company Herald resources Limited announced Friday that assay result for SOP 47D hole in Anjing Hitam sector in its Zinc/Lead prospect in Dairi regency, North Sumatra, showed a high grade intercept of 4.1meters at 20.6 percent Zn and 11.2 percent Pb.
The company said in its report another hole targeting the southwest continuation of the Anjing Hitam zone, failed to intersect significant mineralization.
The drilling deviation problems encountered in the last few holes at Anjing Hitam sector and have resulted in the decision to curtail drilling at Anjing Hitam for the time being and drilling would now concentrate concurrently on two other very prospective locations, namely the Bongkaras sector and the Lae Jehe sector, said the company.
The company previously announced that resources at the Anjing Hitam zone are 7.5million tons at 20.8 percent Zn equivalent (indicated) and 2.5million tons at 14.0 percent Zn equivalent (inferred).
Herald Resources holds 71 percent interest in International Annax Ventures, which in turn holds 80 percent stake in PT Dairi Prima Mineral, the operator of the prospect. State miner PT Aneka Tambang Tbk, holds the remaining 20 percent stake in Dairi Prima Mineral. (alex)
