Herbras-1 plugged and abandoned: Cue

Australian oil firm Cue Energy said on Wednesday that Herbras-1 exploration well in Sampang PSC offshore East Java was being plugged and abandoned at a depth of 2,515 meters after penetrating primary objective without encountering any significant hydrocarbons.

Participants in the Sampang PSC are: Santos (Sampang) Pty Ltd 40.5% (Operator),

Singapore Petroleum Sampang Ltd 36%, Cue Sampang Pty Ltd 13.5% and PT Petrogas Oyong Jatim 10% (subject to finalization). (alex)
