Hess secures rig for W. Papua exploration campaign

US oil, gas firm Hess Corporation said on Wednesday it has secured a rig to drill exploration well in Semai V PSC Block offshore West Papua.

The Company said the well is expected to spud by the first quarter of 2011.

The Company has 100 percent interest in the block. (alex)
