Hess still to carry out production commitment: SKK Migas

Upstream authority SKK Migas requested global oil and gas firm Hess to continue its production operation commitment in Indonesia while it is looking for buyers for its assets here.

Up to now, Hess has yet to report any transfer of ownership of its Indonesian assets, said SKK Migas Chairman Rudi Rubiandini. It means Hess still formally has operations here.

"It's Hess' business to look for buyers. What's important is all production commitment and operational activities are carried out properly," Rudi told petromindo.com.

As reported earlier, Hess plans to pull out of Indonesia and is looking for opportunities to sell its Indonesian assets.
