Hess to drill 3 exploration wells in W Papua

US oil and gas firm Hess Corp has familiarized its plan to drill its Semai V exploration block offshore West Papua at the end of February to the surrounding community.
The company said that it would drill three exploration wells in the block, Hess? VP government & external relations Artis Waluyono said during his site visit last week as quoted by upstream oil, gas regulator BPMIGAS? website.
He did not give further details regarding the drilling program. The Company has 100 percent interest in the block. (bernard)
