Hillgrove?s managing director resigns

Australia-listed firm Hillgrove Resources Limited announced that its Managing Director Drew Simonsen had resigned effective on Friday.

?Drew has overseen the company through significant change in terms of the company?s activities, including the raising of debt and equity funding for the development of the Kanmantoo copper project in South Australia in 2010. He has since managed the company through the construction period in 2011 and the ramp up phase since November 2011,? Chairman of the Board, Dean Brown said in a press statement issued by the company on Friday.

?In addition, Drew has overseen the commencement of exploration programs in Indonesia, including the commencement of drilling at both Birds Head in West Papua and on the Island of Sumba. The Board joins with me in appreciation of his work in developing the company and extends its best wishes for Drew for the future,? he added.

Dean Brown announced that Russell Middleton, Company Secretary and CFO, is the Acting CEO whilst a selection process for the new CEO is being undertaken.
