Hokasa Mandiri wins tender for construction of S. Sumatra mini LPG plant

PT Hokasa Mandiri has finally won the tender for the construction of a mini LPG plant in Musi Banyuasin, South Sumatra, Kontan daily reported Tuesday.

According to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the signing of the contract for the project will be held at the end of this month, as the government expects construction process to start later this year, in the hope that the plant, which will have a production capacity of 17 tons per day, can start operation by the end of 2014.

Once the construction process has been completed, Hokasa will deliver the LPG plant to state-owned oil and gas firm Pertamina, which will operate it. The gas requirement for the plant will be supplied by PT Medco E&P Indonesia at a volume of 5.2 mmscfd. (*)
