Holcim Philippines seeks for Indonesian spot coal suppliers

Philippine cement maker Holcim Philippines is looking for Indonesian coal spot suppliers to feed its kiln, a company official told Petromindo.Com.
The official said the company expects 20 percent of its annual coal demand, which amounts to of 500,000 and 750,000, to be fullfilled by spot suppliers. The company is seeking coal with calorific value of 6,300-6,100 kcal/kg (ADB) with sulphur content of 1.2 percent maximum.
The company has bagged a long-term coal supply from Kalimantan coal miner Baramulti Group and trading firm PT Asia Pacific Mining Resources (APMC), the official said without giving deatils. (denny)
