House approves MEMR's indicative budget ceiling of Rp27.33 trillion

The House of Representatives' Commission XII has approved the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources' (MEMR) indicative budget ceiling for 2027 at Rp27.33 trillion.
The ministry has allocated Rp22.475 trillion, or around 82% of the total 2027 indicative budget, for energy infrastructure development, while Rp3.56 trillion has been earmarked for operational expenditures, with the remainder allocated to non-physical public service programs.
The indicative budget ceiling was agreed during a working meeting on Monday.
The list of infrastructure projects planned for 2027 includes:
Directorate General of Oil and Gas (Rp10.599 trillion)
1. Farmer Conversion Kits (Konkit), including supervisory consultants
• 14,000 packages
• Rp158.50 billion
2. Dusem Natural Gas Pipeline (MYC) FY2025–2027, including supervisory consultants
• 1 pipeline section
• Rp3.948 trillion
3. Household Gas Network (Jargas) Program (MYC) FY2026–2028, including supervisory consultants
• 959,232 household connections
• Rp5.213 trillion
4. Semarang–Solo–Yogyakarta Gas Transmission Pipeline (MYC) FY2026–2028, including supervisory consultants
• 1 pipeline section
• Rp702.38 billion
5. Cirebon–Bandung Gas Transmission Pipeline (MYC) FY2026–2028, including supervisory consultants
• 1 pipeline section
• Rp577.56 billion
Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation (EBTKE) (Rp1.509 trillion)
1. Micro-Hydropower Plants (PLTMH) (MYC) FY2027–2028, including infrastructure monitoring and evaluation
