House, govt agree to revise geothermal law

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Jero Wacik said that the government and the House of Representatives have reached an agreement to deliberate the revision of Law No 27/2007 on geothermal, Bisnis Indonesia daily reported Wednesday.
The revision of the law will focus on six main points which have hampered the development of the geothermal resources for producing electricity in the country. (*)
