House selects members of BPH Migas

The House of Representatives have selected nine people to become the members of oil and gas downstream authority BPH Migas.

The nine people are Tabagus Haryono, current chairman of the agency, Triyono, state owned gas company PT PGN?s general manager for East Java, Ibrahim Hasyim, former shipping director of state owned oil and gas company PT Pertamina, Eri Purnomohadi, chairman of the Hiswana Migas oil and gas business association, Jogi Prajogo, Heru Wahyudi, current committee secretary of BPH Migas, Adi Subagio, current oil-based fuel director of BPH Migas, Agus Budi, Hanggono TN, a member of BPH Migas.

BPH Migas has nine members, including one who also acts as chairman, and two directors, that is director of oil-based fuel and director of gas.

According to Tjatur Sapto Eddy, a member of the House?s Commission VII overseeing among others oil, mining affairs, said on Tuesday the nine people were selected by the Commission from among the 18 people proposed by the government.

?The Commission will choose the chairman of the agency from among the nine people this evening,? he said. (Godang)
