HPE of mineral concentrates for January down

The export reference price (HPE) of mineral concentrates for the period of January 2015 are mostly down compared to December prices, the Ministry of Trade announced Monday.
The ministry said the HPE for copper concentrate is 2.11 percent lower at an average price of US$1,750.98 per wet metric ton (WMT), iron ore concentrate with average price of $50.43 per WMT down by 29.26 percent, manganese concentrates with average price of $827.12 per WMT down by 0.72 percent, and zinc concentrates with average price of $555.34 per WMT down by 2.14 percent.
Director General of International Trade at the ministry said that the lower HPE reflected declining trend in the price of mineral commodities in the international market.
Meanwhile, the HPE iron ore concentrates (gutit/laterite), ilmenite concentrate and titanium concentrate remain unchanged.
