HPE of most mineral concentrates up

The Ministry of Trade said Thursday that the export reference price (HPE) for most of the country?s mineral concentrate products for the period of June is increased compared to the levels in May in line with higher prices of the commodities in the international market.

The ministry said in a statement that the export reference price of copper concentrates for the period of June was raised by 2.62 percent to average US$1,694.80 per wet metric ton.

Export reference price of iron ore concentrates (hematite, magnetite, pyrite) was raised by 17.12 percent to $40.43 per WMT, for iron ore concentrates (gutit/laterit) increased by 5.43 percent to $14.60 per WMT, zinc concentrates up by 9.27 percent to $580.52 per WMT, while lead concentrates saw its export reference price raised by 9.27 percent to average price of $849.19 per WMT.

Meanwhile, the ministry said that concentrates whose export reference price was lowered in June include manganese, ilmenite, and titanium.
