HPE of most mineral concentrates up

The Ministry of Trade announced that the export reference price (HPE) of most of the country?s mineral concentrate products for the period of October 2017 increased compared to the HPE in September in line with rising international price of the commodities.
The ministry said in a statement on Friday that the HPE for copper concentrates in October has been set an average price US$2,215.80 per WMT, or a 5.21 percent increase compared to the HPE in September.
Other mineral concentrates whose HPE has also been increased include manganese concentrates with HPE rising 5.43 percent to average price of $220.17 per WMT, lead concentrates at $974.97 per WMT, up 0.46 percent, zinc concentrates up 13.03 percent to $905.67 per WMT, ilmenite up 2.31 percent to $242.17 per WMT, rutile up 3.32 percent to $969.33 per WMT, nickel up 13.01 percent to $16.76 per WMT, and bauxite up 6.53 percent to $37.57 per WMT.
Meanwhile, mineral concentrate products with lower HPE are iron concentrates (hematite, magnetite) at $58.50 per WMT, iron laterite concentrates (gutit, hematite, and magnetite with Fe content of equal to or more than 50 percent) at $28.29 per WMT, and iron ore concentrates (lamella, magnate-ilmenite) at $34.92 per WMT.
