Huawei Mining interested to acquire Indonesian gold mines

A Hong-Kong based mining company, Huawei Mining Investment Company Ltd, is interested to acquire gold mine concessions. Huawei offers both large and small scale investment for Indonesian gold mines.

"We are trying to find good opportunities in Indonesia, particularly gold mines. However, we also are interested in copper," Tian Chen, Huawei's Director General Manager, said in Bali on Monday.

Huawei, a newcomer in the Indonesia mining sector, is still exploring investment opportunities at existing gold mines as there is no new gold mine concession available in Indonesia.
