Humpus? subsidiaries sign LNG carrier sales and purchasing agreement

IDX-listed LNG transportation firm PT Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi Tbk (HIT) announced on Friday that on March 31, 2016, its two subsidiaries, MCGC II Inc. (MCGC II) and PT Bhaskara Inti Samudera (BIS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to the sales and purchasing of LNG carrier Surya Satsuma worth US$20 million.

The firm did not explain which is the buyer and seller of the carrier.

It noted however that both firms are controlled by HIT. MCGC II is 55 percent owned by PT Humpuss Transportasi Kimia (HTK), which 99.9 percent owned by HIT. Meanwhile, BIS is 95 percent owned by PT GTS Internasional, which is 99.9 percent owned PT Hateka Trans Internasional, which is 99.9 percent owned by HTK.
