Humpuss acquires new oil tanker

IDX-listed shipping company PT Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi Tbk said on Friday it has acquired a new oil tanker called MT Prospero worth US$9.9 million from a Swedish shipping group.
Humpuss said in a statement that the transaction was signed on July 25 by its indirect subsidiary PT Hutama Trans Kencana with Donso Shipping AB and Donso Holding AB in Sweden. This followed a MoU signed by the three firms on June 9.
Humpuss said previously it plans to acquire four new oil, LNG, and LPG tankers this year worth US$62 million.
