Humpuss concludes vessels acquisition

IDX-listed shipping company PT Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi Tbk announced Friday it had on October 25 concluded transaction in relation to the acquisition of three vessels.
The company said in a statement that it has also received the three vessels in Busan, South Korea, from two sellers, Nagasaki Shipping Pte Ltd and Summit Offshore Marines Pte Ltd.
Humpuss, which is engaged in transportation of LNG, fuel and petrochemical products as well as provides offshore support vessel, said that on September 26 the company signed memorandum of agreement with the sellers on the purchase of two units of Hopper Borge named "3055" and "3056" from Nagasaki, and one unit of Clamshell Dredger named "Woobang Giant" from Summit Offshore.
Total investment was around US$10.1 million, of which $6.8 million was financed via bank loans, and the remainder own equity.
