Humpuss Intermoda to build power plant in Lampung

Publicly listed transportation company PT Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi Tbk plans to build a 2x15 Megawatt coal-fired power plant in Gunung Singgih, Central Lampung of Lampung province, company president director Eddy Pramono said recently.
The US$35 million power project, which was approved in last month shareholder meeting, will be built in early 2005 and part of it will be financed through credit. The plant will get coal from PT Bukit Asam and coal from South Kalimantan.
Eddy said, the company was also considering to work together with the local administration in realizing the planned project.(*)
