Hungarian firm eyeing S. Sumatra mine-mouth power plant development

Hungarian firm called Garvox is teaming up with Indonesian companies to build 400-MW mine-mouth power plant in South Sumatra, Bisnis Indonesia reported Tuesday.

The report said that Garvox will team up with state miner PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (PTBA) and state electricity firm PLN.

The daily quoted PTBA?s director AC Purba as saying that Garvox, PTBA and PLN will have 67 percent, 23 percent and 8 percent stake, respectively, in the project, with the remaining 2 percent would go to regional government owned companies. (*)
