Hungary's tin buyer Metalloglobus Femonto es Kereskedelmi Kft has signed a contract to purchase 400 metric tons of tin worth US$6.7 million from sate-owned tin miner PT Timah Tbk. Investor daily reported Monday.

First Secretary for economy affairs of the Indonesia Embassy in Budapest Octavino Alimudin said in Budapest on Saturday that the contract was an extension of the contract signed in 2007 when the Hungary company purchased 300 metric tons of tin worth US$4 million.

?The Indonesian Embassy's Indonesian Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC) in Budapest has since late 2006 arranged the meeting of the two parties and invited the company to visit tin product center at Bangka Island,? said Alimudin. (*)
