Husky: Construction at BD field 54% complete

Canadian firm Husky Energy said construction of a wellhead platform and pipeline infrastructure at the liquids-rich BD fields, in Madura Strait block, offshore East Java, is about 54 percent complete.
?The sailout of the platform jacket and topsides took place in October 2015. Construction of the FPSO vessel is approximately 25 percent complete and all major lead time items have been ordered,? Husky said in a statement Friday.
The company has said that first production from the field is expected to take place in 2017.
The company said that the tendering process for the MDA and MBH development projects continued in the third quarter of 2015.
Meanwhile, the two-dimensional and three-dimensional seismic survey data acquired during the second quarter of 2015 on the Anugerah block, offshore East Java continues to be evaluated to determine the potential for future drilling opportunities, Husky said.
