Ibris Nickel signs MoU with Chinese Company for developing smelter in Konawe

Singapore based mineral mining company Ibris Nickel Pte. Ltd signed an MoU with Yong-Xing Alloy Materials Technology Taizhou Co., Ltd for the development of a smelter plant project in northern Konawe, Southeast Sulawesi, on Wednesday.

Arwan Ahimsa, Director & Group CEO of Ibris Nickel, said that the smelter will have a capacity of 6 million to 8 million tons of nickel ore per annum with the output of 600,000 tons of Nickel Pig Iron (NPI).

"This project involves about US$ 1.8 billion of investment," Arwan said after the signing.
