IBT has no plan to expand terminal capacity

?IBT?s throughput capacity is now at 8 million tons per annum. We will only consider expanding if we are operating at full capacity three years in a row,? company?s senior official Lanang Purnomo told Petromindo.Com Wednesday in an interview. Last year IBT handled 6.93 million tons of coal in is targeting to handle the same volume this year.
IBT operates deep-sea coal terminal, located on South Pulau Laut, lies on major domestic and international shipping routes. The terminal has a stockyard capacity of 800,000 metric tons and is capable receiving 85,000 dead weight ton vessels.
IBT?s major clients are PT Adaro Indonesia, PT Arutmin Indonesia, PT Baramulti, PT Multi Harapan Utama, and others small-scale coal miners. (robert)
