ICMA: 2013's RI output to hit over 400 MT

Indonesia's coal production is predicted to reach over 400 million tons this year, according to Indonesia Coal Mining Association (ICMA).

Supriatna Suhala, Executive Director of the association told Petromindo.com that this prediction was based on the total production in the first quarter of the year reaching more than 90 million tons.

"The report from ministry of trade shows coal export in the first quarter has reached 99 million tons," he said. Supriatna added that in 2013 many coal mining company boosted their production.

"We predict the national coal production can reach more than 400 million tons," he ended.
