ICMA predicts the national coal production could reach 390 million ton

Indonesia Coal Mining Association predicts that the national coal production in 2012 will reach 390 million tons eventhough the production in the first two months of the year was rather low.

The Association's Executive Director Supriatna Suhala told Petromindo.com that although the production process of most of the coal minings was disrupted during January-February by the rainy condition, but it will be well compensated in the dry season within the upcoming months.

Supariatna added that coal demand from India and China will remain high as going forward it is likely that the two giant countries will still book positive economic growths.
