ICO announces acquisition of SE Asian inspection services business

Houston based Service Company ICO, INC. announced on Tuesday the acquisition of the assets of Analysis Petroleum Inspection Pte Ltd ("APII"), headquartered in Singapore.
APII has been in the business of providing non-destructive inspection services to Southeast Asian drilling and production companies in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam. The company, which has been in operation since 1988, has provided services on casing, tubing, drill pipe and line pipe, as well as other equipment essential in the drilling and production of oil and gas.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.(alex)
