ICR aims to deliver six barges of coal in Q2

Coal mining company PT Indonesia Coal Resources (PT ICR), a wholly owned subsidiary of IDX-listed PT ANTAM Tbk, said that its trading unit delivered two barges of coal in the first quarter of this year.

Ady Taufik, President Director of ICR told Petromindo.com recently that the coal, taken from South Kalimantan, has a CV of 6,600 Kcal per kg ADB, and was delivered to PT Meratus Jaya Iron Steel.

?Actually it?s supposed to be five barges but we were only able to provide two barges with capacity of 7,500 tons each,? he said, adding that the company is targeting to deliver at least six barges from trading activity in the second quarter of 2015.

?In the second quarter especially in April and May 2015, ANTAM?s business unit in Pomalaa has also asked for supplly, and anothertwo barges in June,? Ady explained.
