ICR delivering 5,500 tons of coal in trial shipment to Port Klang

Coal mining company PT Indonesia Coal Resources (PT ICR), a wholly owned subsidiary of PT Antam Tbk, has delivered 5,500 tons of coal to a new Malaysian client in a trial shipment through Port Klang in Kuala Lumpur.
Ady Taufik Yudisia, President Director of ICR told Petromindo.com on Monday that the vessel carrying the coal departed two days ago. ?The coal is from our concession in Sarolangun, Jambi with an average value of 5,300 until 5,500 Kcal/kg.,? he said adding that after the trial shipment, it is hoped that the client will sign a contract for shipment of similar amount of coal on monthly basis from Jambi.
In addition, the company will also deliver 6,500 tons of coal in a trial shipment also to Kabil Port in Batam from South Sumatra. ?The trial shipment to Batam will be carried out within this month,? he said without disclosing the coal?s calorific value.
