ICR produced 40,000 tons of coal in January

Coal mining company PT Indonesia Coal Resources (PT ICR), a wholly owned subsidiary of PT Antam Tbk, booked around 40,000 tons of coal production in January 2015 from its coal mine in Sarolangun, Jambi Province.

Ady Taufik, acting President Director of PT Indonesia Coal Resources (PT ICR), told Petromindo.Com that this production is lower than the company?s target which is about 75,000 ton per month this year.

?Although it is lower than our target, this realization is considered normal since in January and February are still in a rainy season,? he said adding that the company will increase the production after March when the rainy season is expected to be over to compensate for the lower production in January and February.

?In March and the following months we expect to be able to produce more than 80,000 ton per month,? he said
