Coal mining company PT Indonesia Coal Resources (PT ICR), a wholly owned subsidary of PT Antam Tbk, will supply 150,000 tons of coal with a calorific value of 6,600 GAR ADB, for Antam?s power plant in Pomalaa, Southeast Sulawesi this year.
Ady Taufik, acting President Director of ICR, told Petrmindo.com that Pomalaa power plant is expected to start commissioning in the middle of this year.
The coal will be sourced from other company as the coal now produced by ICR in Sarolangun, Jambi does not meet the power plant?s requirement, Ady said.
