SGX-listed IEV Holdings Limited announced Tuesday that the production trial from CLS-1TW well in Cilamaya Structure of the Pabuaran KSO block, onshore West Java, has been suspended to prepare the work program for a change of well completion.

IEV said in a statement that it commenced production from CLS-1TW on October 30, 2016 and has produced a cumulative of 2,191 barrels during the period October 30 to December 27 by natural flow. ?For long term production, however, the CLS-1TW will require a change in well completion to allow chemical stimulation and a sidetrack to an up dip location that provides more vertical height to offset from the oil-water contact,? the statement said.

As such, IEV said the CLS-1TW will be suspended pending the preparation of the program and until approval of Pertamina to proceed with the workover of the well is received.

The onshore project was awarded by PT Pertamina EP, a subsidiary of Indonesia?s state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, for the Pabuaran Block on Feb. 16, 2012 through the Kerjasama Operasi (KSO) also known as the "Operation Cooperation" program. The block is located 90 km east of Jakarta in the Subang district, West Java, Indonesia with a total acreage of about 77.036 square km.
