State- owned gas firm PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) has yet to decide what the US$50 million loan offered by IFC will be used for, Widyatmiko Bapang said in release statement on Monday.
According to PGN’s Corporate Secretary, the company is concentrating on the completion of projects, namely SSWJ transmission and distribution network development in Western Java.
He also affirmed that if the loan is used, it won’t come out of the US$225 million loan received from ADB and ING consortium, wherein the company secured a bridging loan of US$100 million from ING. The bridging loan already disbursed would be included into the loan from the consortium. (godang)
