Illegal mining turns rampant again in South Kalimantan

Illegal coal mining activities have become rampant again in South Kalimantan province particularly in the Pasir Laut area in Kotabaru regency, the Banjarmasin Post reported.

The paper said that there were many holes left by illegal mining activities in the area.

People said that the illegal miners had been operating in the area for quite sometime because no one dares to stop them. (*)
