IM targets to ramp up 2013 output

East Kalimantan coal miner PT Indomining (IM) expects to get its mining production operation license (IUP Operasi Produksi) extension by end of this quarter of 2013, industrial sources told Petromindo.
The company is in the process of renewing the license that will extend its license until 2023. The current license will expire in June 2013.
Indomining, coal unit of IDX-listed PT Toba Bara Sejahtra expects to increase its coal output to 1.5-1.8 million tons in 2013 from 1 million tons in 2012.
The mine is located in Kutai Kartanegara regency which started production in 2007. The company produces coal with CV of 5,700 Kcal/kg (GAR) and total sulphur of 0.9%.
