Ina International to develop coal mine in W. Sulawesi

PT Ina International Co will develop a coal mine in Mamuju Regency, West Sulawesi following the completion of exploration stage, Antara reported Monday.

Ina International Co director Minadi Pujaya said in Mamuju, last week that following the completion of general survey and exploration activities, the company would start with next stages, including finding geographical and topographical details, conducting an environmental impact analysis and preparing a mining plan.

?If those stages have been completed, we will start with test trial coal production in September 2007,? he said.

Pujaya said that the company has received mining authority (KP) license from Mamuju administration, with a mining area covering 15,000 hectares in Bonehao district. (*)
