INCO appoints Edward Hodkin president director

PT International Nickel Indonesia (INCO) on Wednesday said shareholders at its annual general meeting have approved the appointment of Edward Hodkin as president director, replacing Rumengan Musu.

Bing Tobing has been appointed vice president director to fill the gap left by Hodkin, and Raymond Westall as financial director.

Scott Hand was reappointed president commissioner.

INCO also said it will not pay a dividend for 2001, opting instead to use its net profit to help pay long-term debt of US$9.27 mln falling due mid-year.

It said another US$76.9 mln in debt falls due next year.

INCO reported a 2001 net profit of US$9.265 mln against US$80.482 mln the previous year. (*)
